Happy New Year to everyone. We hope that everyone has a safe and prosperous 2010. Although 2009 was an eventful year and year full of change for us, there is no doubt that our 2010 will be even more exciting. Our girls will be coming home in February and we are running around trying to prepare the house and ourselves for this wonderful time in our lives.
We are praying that the Lord is preparing them as well as us.
This picture was taken on December 23 at the House of Hope in Addis Ababa two days after the adoption was finalized in Ethiopia. Rahel and Tigist look much different than the first pictures we received in October(pics taken in July) when they were at the orphanage. Tigist looks like a shy one but Rahel is smiling bright! We are so excited. Our plan is to travel at the end of January and return in Early February.
We will be posting regularly up to the trip and during the trip.

What beautiful additions to your family!! We are thrilled to know that they will grow up in a wonderful home full of love and the knowledge of Christ.

ReplyDeletei have watched video of my new grandaughters at least a dozen or so times over past few days & can't wait for their arrival.
So grateful that God blessed you with the opportunity to bring these darling girls here & begin a new & wonderful life with such a loving family.
