Day 5: A slow start to the day

We had a great plan this morning to go to the HIlton for a bit of Western Living and to find the girls some tennis shoes, but it didn't work out as they gov't had the roads into the hotel closed. Whenever there is a meeting at the hotel no one is allowed in or out.  When we got back Andrew got sick again.  He is being a trooper but I think the roads are too bumpy for him. Next trip out we are going to try some motion sickness medicine.  Please pray for Andrew and he is having a tough time with the food as well.

This afternoon we work with our agency and finalize all of the paperwork for the Embassy visit. I am going to go and Susan and the kids are going to stay at the guest home. Our frends, the Bridges, are going to stop by and meet the girls while I am gone.

  1. Please give my sweet Andrew extra hugs & kisses from Nana. Also besides meds for motion sickness,if possible have him sit in front seat & have him focus on one area on road & wear sun glasses. Might help.
Just talked with Tina @WK Pets & all are doing well. Oscar has really adjusted & has become very friendly.
All of us here in Memphis have finall thawed out from ice, sleet, snow storm over weekend. Getting warmer today. Yeah!!!
Love to all & hope your day gets better.

  2. I woke up this morning with a strong urge to pray for your family. I have been following your journey every day and am so happy that you're finally a family of 6. I know you've been waiting for this day for a long time.

Steven & I both are so excited to hear more about your transition with the girls and how they adjust to life at home. Sure hope the boys start feeling better as well.

Can't wait to hear more! You're in my prayers every day.

Please tell Susan "hello" and "thank you" for the Pack'n Play directions!

    Love,
    Melissa & Steven
